Do dreams have a meaning, what are they trying to tell us?
For quite some time, I had begun to wonder if love didn’t just have a painful edge to it. After a suffocating and unhappy relationship, I started to doubt whether true love even existed and whether this was the kind of love I deserved. For several nights, I had different dreams featuring one important person. It was hazy and unclear where I was or who I was with in these dreams, but I did feel strongly that this person was important to me.

After a suffocating and unhappy relationship, I started to doubt whether true love even existed and whether this was the kind of love I deserved. For several nights, I had different dreams featuring one important person. It was hazy and unclear where I was or who I was with in these dreams, but I did feel strongly that this person was important to me.
In search of an answer, I opened various books on different cultures and the studies on dreamanalysis by Freud and Jung. There is no clear answer to what a dream tells us, but based on Jung’s theory, I was able to better decipher my dream.

During a moment of happiness and love, a flash of the dream flashed before my eyes. That was my answer. The relationship from the past brought the question to the surface for me. What kind of love do I deserve? My dream told me what I was looking for. The touch, the glimmer, and the feeling told me what I was looking for, and now that I’ve found it, it flashed past me as a confirmation. My dream gave me an answer, and through dream analysis, I was able to decipher it, thereby finding my love.
